Q4-2022

Stratton Aviation, LLC (“Stratton”) has completed the acquisition of a CFM56-5C4/P engine for immediate part-out.  This engine model is one of many Stratton has prioritized to complement its core business of providing reliable and efficient aftermarket solutions to the commercial aviation industry.  The teardown is anticipated to be complete within the next 45 days.   

“The aftermarket significantly improved in 2022 and Stratton has made great headway.  We quickly secured several assets including engines and whole aircraft.  Additionally, Stratton will be positioned to redeploy assets upon completion of our 145 repair station targeted for early 2023.  This is a great finish to 2022 and the company is poised for a great 2023 given the added capabilities,” said Steven Fox, Vice President Engine Group, Stratton Aviation, LLC. 

“This deal marks great progress, and we are excited about where our Engine Group is heading. With our facility in upstate New York fully operational, we will continue to pursue assets for internal consumption, while also offering our customers wide-ranging solutions for both serviceable and end-of-life assets,” added Hunter Thayer, COO, Stratton Aviation, LLC.

Stratton Aviation, LLC (“Stratton”) through its partnership with Stratton Aviation Technical Services, LLC has signed a lease agreement with Griffiss International Airport (ICAO: KRME).  As an established aftermarket supplier of commercial aircraft spares, Stratton continues to expand and reinvest in its product offering with services to include aircraft and engine dismantlement, storage options and asset management services.
 

“We are thrilled to partner with Griffiss International Airport.  Our new facility will be a natural extension of our existing operations as we look to expand our aircraft and engine disassembly operations,” said Ethan Fischer, CEO of Stratton Aviation.  “A big thanks goes to the folks with Oneida County.  In particular, Ed Arcuri’s business-friendly approach to partnership was instrumental in getting this across the finish line.  Our new facility and operation will soon begin to positively impact the local economy with the creation high-quality skilled jobs.”

Stratton Aviation, LLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Skyco International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., an established aircraft finance company, headquartered in Guangzhou, China. The agreement will serve as the foundation to a long-term strategic partnership for providing mid- and end-of-life aircraft management solutions. As an established and innovative aftermarket supplier of commercial aircraft spares, Stratton Aviation, LLC continues to expand its global product offerings to its end user customer base by leveraging strategically-placed, globally- distributed inventory.
 

Skyco International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (“Skyco”) is a foreign-invested financial leasing company jointly established by Guangdong Hengjian Investment Holding Co., Ltd. along with other domestic and foreign institutional investors. The company offers a variety of services including, but not limited to, fleet planning, asset management and full life cycle asset management. At present, Skyco has fleet of 28 aircraft.
 

“The global demand for quality, used-serviceable components and fleet management solutions has and will continue to increase in the coming years. This is particularly the case for the APAC region.” said Hunter Thayer, Stratton Aviation, LLC COO. “Our agreement with Skyco will allow us to deepen our relationships with APAC operators and maintenance providers, while we continue to be the reliable and cost-effective partner our industry needs during these unprecedented times.”

Stratton Aviation, LLC has signed a long-term consignment agreement with Xiamen Xiangyu Air Service Co. LTD. , an established aftermarket supplier warehoused and headquartered in Xiamen China. Included in this agreement is teardown inventory from commercial aircraft A320-200, MSN 859, warehoused in Xiamen. As an established aftermarket supplier of commercial aircraft spares, Stratton Aviation, LLC continues to expand its global product offerings to its end user customer base by leveraging strategically-placed, globally-distributed inventory.

 

Xiamen Xiangyu Air Service Co. LTD. is a member of China Air Transportation Association and Fujian General Aviation Association. The company offers a variety of services including, but not limited to, aviation training/education, aftermarket aircraft and component trading and aircraft dismantling as its primary services. Xiangyu was founded in 2012 and has a strong aviation background. Xiangyu is currently certified as ISO9001:2015+AS9120B compliant.

Stratton Aviation, LLC. has signed a long-term lease agreement with the Plattsburgh International Airport (ICAO: KPBG) and, is proud to announce the formation of Stratton Aviation Technical Services.  As an established aftermarket supplier of commercial aircraft spares, Stratton Aviation, LLC. is expanding its product offerings to its end user customer base by offering additional services to include aircraft and engine dismantlement, storage options and asset management services.

 

Plattsburgh International Airport (ICAO: KPBG), also known as Montreal’s U.S. Airport, is a multipurpose aviation and aerospace complex that serves the Northeast region and Canada. “fDi Magazine has identified Plattsburgh as among the Top Ten Micropolitan Cities of the Future in North and South America, billing itself as Montreal’s US Suburb.”  KPBG is home to a 12,000-foot runway and a 12 million sq. foot concrete ramp.

Stratton Aviation LLC. has purchased a large pool of 757/767 Auxiliary Power Units. These units, purchased for both refurbishment for sale and teardown, will further increase our support options.
